Facebook Is Limiting Our Posts – Please READ and Then LIKE, SHARE and COMMENT

In the ever-changing world of Facebook, the powers that be are constantly making changes to the algorithm. As a matter of fact, an announcement was made yesterday concerning their latest update.

“One of our News Feed values is authentic communication,” the Facebook post continues. “We’ve heard from our community that authentic stories are the ones that resonate most — those that people consider genuine and not misleading, sensational or spammy.”

“For example, if Page posts are often being hidden by people reading them, that’s a signal that it might not be authentic,” reads the Facebook post, which is authored by two research scientists and an engineering manager.

If people are willing to block or unfriend people they disagree with, then they will likely do the same for news stories they disagree with, regardless of the authenticity of the content. This newly implemented update is intended to do nothing more than stifle anything that liberal Facebook network deems to be a threat to the liberal agenda.

I have seen many of you make comments like “post some real news” when something pops up in your Facebook feed that isn’t necessarily to your liking. Unfortunately with the way Facebook works, less than 1% of our followers actually see the content we post.

One simple thing you can do is make sure you are viewing your newsfeed by seeing most recent content first. Refer to image below.

most-recent

If something appears in your Facebook newsfeed from us that you don’t typically care to see then it is because enough people clicked, commented, liked or shared the article or meme and that is why it showed up higher in your newsfeed.

Memes and videos reach far more people than articles do because Facebook wants to keep you, the user, on the Facebook network for reasons pertaining to advertising. If you click an article then it takes you off the Facebook network until you are finished reading or watching.

The reason you don’t see more ‘real news’ from us in your newsfeed is because you, our followers, don’t interact with our content enough for it to continue showing up in your newsfeed. If you don’t interact (like, comment, share) for the period of time Facebook has deemed you should have, the algorithm interprets your inactivity to mean that you no longer want to see our content so it stops appearing in your newsfeed.

If you want to see more of the ‘meaningful’ content and articles from us to appear in your newsfeed you will need to interact on a regular basis, and that means on articles more than memes and videos. If you no longer care to see our content, for whatever reason, please unlike our pages so we won’t fill your newsfeed with content that you don’t care to see.

In closing I want to say thank you to each of you, our followers, because without you we wouldn’t still be doing this. Please don’t hesitate to send a private message to any of our pages if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
