The girl had reportedly battled an “undisclosed infection” that had affected her liver. Sadie also was suffering from a heart issue. The singer’s representative confirmed to the outlet that his niece passed away on Tuesday.
The infant was born over the summer last year to Bo and Ellen Boyer, on the singer’s wife’s side of the family.
Boyer has wrote on her Facebook page that her daughter was undergoing dialysis treatment. Her last post dated on Monday asked for prayers after Sadie’s condition changed.“Please flood the heavens with prayers,” Boyer wrote. “We will not give up on our tough, brave Brett.”
