On Wednesday, Sean “Diddy” Combs was named in a fourth complaint alleging that, twenty years ago, in a recording studio in New York City, he engaged in gang rape and sex trafficking with a teenage girl along with two other men.
An unidentified woman claims in the most recent complaint filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan that two Combs associates, Harve Pierre, a former longtime president of his record label, and an unidentified person, met her at a Detroit lounge when she was just 17 years old and then took her to New York on a private plane in 2003.
“Mr. Combs convinced Ms. Doe, who was half his age at the time, to accompany Mr. Pierre and the Third Assailant on a private jet to come to his studio in New York City,” the suit alleges.
Following their arrival, Combs and the two friends allegedly “plied” the woman with excessive amounts of narcotics and alcohol, raping her alternately as she wandered “in and out of consciousness,” according to the lawsuit. The complaint claims that after the alleged assaults, she “fell into the fetal position and lay on the floor” before the men took her back to Michigan via plane.
“As alleged in the complaint, defendants preyed on a vulnerable high school teenager as part of a sex trafficking scheme that involved plying her with drugs and alcohol and transporting her by private jet to New York City where she was gang raped by the three individual defendants at Mr. Combs’ studio,” Douglas H. Wigdor, an attorney for the woman, said in a statement. “The depravity of these abhorrent acts has, not surprisingly, scarred our client for life.”
Combs’s record label, Bad Boy Entertainment, which he formed in 1993, and his studio, Daddy’s House Recordings, are also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
The complainant filed the complaint under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, which allows adults who are accused of sexual assault to pursue civil damages for sexual battery until March 1, 2025. The plaintiff is purportedly seeking injunctive, declaratory, and monetary compensation.
After founding his label in the early 1990s and producing big-name acts like The Notorious B.I.G., Combs started his career as an intern at Uptown Records. He went on to become one of the most successful businessmen and cultural superstars of all time.
But despite Combs’s decades-long influence and inventiveness, the battle to protect his reputation and legacy is becoming more and more difficult as suspicions about him circulate. Combs is currently facing four lawsuits alleging sexual assault.
“Enough is enough,” Combs said in a statement on social media. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

The R&B singer Cassie, whose true name is Casandra Ventura, initially made public the shocking accusations in November.
In a case submitted to Manhattan’s Federal District Court, Ventura—who had previously been intimately linked with Combs and recorded under his label—accused him of rape and abuse for more than ten years.
Ventura said that Combs had beaten, controlled, and videotaped her, engaging in forced sex activities with male prostitutes using “copious amounts of drugs,” including ketamine and ecstasy.
She claimed she was afraid calling the police “would merely give Mr. Combs another excuse to hurt her,” thus she had decided against doing so.
About twenty-four hours after the case was filed, Combs and Ventura settled. The settlement’s specifics were not made public.
Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, stated that the payment was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”
However, Cassie’s lawsuit seemed to be just the beginning of further charges that were to come.
Days later, Liza Gardner and Joie Dickerson-Nea allegedly filed two further cases, alleging in their filings that Combs had sexually abused them.
Combs has refuted every accusation made in each complaint.
