A Chilean reporter lost her top after she dove into the ocean on live TV while wearing a bikini.
Bernadita Middleton was working in the coastal town of Reñaca when her coworkers back in the studio dared her to get in the water.
“In truth, I wasn’t going to go in the water,” Middleton told the Mirror.
Yet, for some reason. she was wearing a bikini under her clothes.
“The bandeau bikini was a recent present,” she said, “but I didn’t attach the straps to keep it in place because I had them on my top.”
After stripping down, Middleton made a run for the ocean. But she was left red-faced after she lost her top during the broadcast.
“Then they asked me to jump in the water, so I went for it,” Middleton said. “In Renaca, the waves are very mischievous and it always happens.”
“You just have to turn around pull up your bikini top and get on with it.”
