Gene, a Denver man who developed Stargardt disease 16 years earlier, could only see the edges of shapes. He’d never seen his wife Joy or his newborn baby.

Joy saw an episode of ‘Rachael Ray Show’ where someone with Stargardt disease was given a special pair of electronic glasses. She reached out to get her husband on the show.
