Wife Devastated After Failing To Save Skydiver Husband Who Said He Is “Not Going To Pull The Cord”

Costanza Zitellini, 25-years-old, was left devastated after running to Skydive Deland, where her husband was doing the jump, and asked an employee to stop her husband immediately, according to reports.

The wife explained to the first employee she found and said she’d just received a video from Vitantonio, saying her husband was ‘not going to pull the cord and that he was going somewhere wonderful‘.

Capotorto Vitantonio then plunged to his death at Sky Dive DeLand in Florida.

The employee tried to radio up to the plane, but it was too late.

DeLand police said an officer was called to Skydive DeLand and was told that Capotorto, an experienced skydiver, jumped from a plane and did not deploy his parachute.

The authorities later found his body face down in a nearby field.

Authorities state that Vitantonio, an Italian national who worked for United Parachute Technologies, plummeted 13,500 feet to his death.

A manager at the company said that they have the best aircraft in the nation and noted that “when a person steps out the door, they are responsible for themselves“.
