Graco, a top-selling baby brand, announced that the company is recalling over 25,000 car seats on Wednesday.

Graco specializes in various baby products including car seats, strollers, baby swings, and much more.

The following statement was released via Facebook:

“Over the past 60 years, safety has been and will continue to be our priority at Graco. As part of Graco’s continuous process of reviewing the quality of its products, Graco is recalling the harness restraints on certain My Ride 65 convertible car seats that were manufactured during the summer of 2014 and sold in the U.S. and Canada.”

“During a test of the individual harness restraint component, the webbing on certain My Ride 65 convertible car seats did not meet federal requirements for breaking strength…We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your understanding.”

Graco also mentioned that if you do own one of these car seats, free replacement parts are being provided.
