Doctor Ben Carson was presumably offered a position in the Trump administration. It seems to me that it was not the least bit too soon.
The Department of Housing and Development seem to have no books worth looking at. Their Inspector General (IG) has had worthless books that are meaningless.
The IG, David A. Montoya was sworn in as Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on December 1, 2011.
The books he produced in a recent audit are a mess.
The books contain eleven ‘material weaknesses’ seven ‘significant deficiencies’ in internal control, and five instances of ‘noncompliance with applicable laws’.
The list of accounting failures, “were due to an inability to establish a compliant control environment, implement adequate financial accounting systems, retain key financial management staff, and identify appropriate accounting principles and policies,” the IG said according to The Daily Caller.
If Doctor Ben Carson is willing to take on this job, it would clean up a giant mess that has been plaguing the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at the very least from December 1, 2011.
In my opinion, Dr. Carson would be well suited to cleanse the long laundry list of things to clean up.
It seems the government is in dire need of some honesty and willingness to work for the people of this country.
UPDATE: In recent hours it seems that the position has been confirmed.
