She’s Going Blind After Tattooing Her Eyes, Her Message For Everyone Is….
You should not do something just because you see it on the internet.
Anaya Peterson learned this lesson the hard way in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The Sun reports that Peterson ignored her 7-year-old daughter’s warnings and decided to get her eyes tattooed.
Her right eye was tattooed in July 2020, and she had no major complications other than some eye dryness and headaches.
In December 2020, Peterson determined that her left eye required the same treatment. And then everything went downhill.
She awoke in August 2021 with her eyes swollen to the point where she said they “looked like I’d done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.”
“At first, I was only going to get one [eye tattoo] because I figured if I went blind, at least I’d have the other eye. “I should have stuck with it,” Peterson admitted to The Sun.
She expressed admiration for Instagram tattoo model Amber Luke’s blue eye tattoos.

Luke claimed that the ink caused her to go blind for three weeks.
“Once the ink penetrated the eyeball, it felt like he grabbed ten shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye,” she explained.
“The torturous procedure had me endure 4 syringe injections into each of my eyeballs,” Luke wrote on Instagram (if done correctly – only supposed to be 2 injections).
“I cried blue tears for two days after the procedure. (botched).”
While Luke claims she is no longer bothered by her eye tattoos, Peterson is suffering from serious vision problems.
“I’m basically on the verge of going blind. I don’t have 20/20 vision anymore. From a distance, I can’t see features on faces,” she said, according to The Sun.
“If I didn’t have my eyeballs tattooed, I wouldn’t be having this problem. Even today I woke up with more floaters in my eyes. And that is dangerous.”

Seriously, why do this?
If you want to get a tattoo, sure do it, but let’s stop with the absolute stupidity and stop tattooing eyes already.
