Patriot Brief

  • What Happened: President Trump called the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show "absolutely terrible" and "one of the worst EVER," saying nobody could understand him and the dancing was disgusting.
  • Why It Matters: Trump said the performance was "an affront to the Greatness of America" and inappropriate for children watching worldwide.
  • Bottom Line: The president blasted the show as a "slap in the face" to the country and demanded the NFL replace its "ridiculous new Kickoff Rule."

President Donald Trump just torched the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show, and he did not hold back.

In a Truth Social post, Trump called the performance "absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER." He said it made no sense, was an affront to American greatness, and did not represent the country's standards of success, creativity, or excellence.

"Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World," Trump wrote.

The president framed the halftime show as a slap in the face to America at a time when the country is setting new records every single day, including the best stock market and 401(k)s in history.

"There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show," Trump said. He predicted it would get great reviews from the fake news media "because they haven't got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD."

Trump also took a shot at the NFL, demanding they immediately replace the ridiculous new kickoff rule.

This is classic Trump. While everyone else pretends the halftime show was groundbreaking, the president said what millions of Americans were thinking. It was inappropriate, incomprehensible, and a waste of time on the biggest stage in sports.

The Super Bowl is watched by families across the country. Kids are glued to the screen. And instead of something uplifting and unifying, the NFL gave them a performance that Trump called disgusting.

The media will defend it. They will call Trump's criticism hateful or out of touch. But Americans know better. They saw what the president saw. And they agree.
