An Arizona restaurant is making waves for doing something that should be normal but has become revolutionary in Biden's America. Sammy's Mexican Grill is giving free meals to ICE agents and federal law enforcement.
Owner Jorge Rivas says the restaurant has displayed a sign for about five years that reads, "Welcome to Sammy's, where law enforcement always eats free." He believes it is important to recognize the sacrifice law enforcement makes every day protecting citizens and putting their lives on the line.
"We personally feel that it is important to recognize the sacrifice that law enforcement does every day," Rivas said in a podcast interview. "Once we're in trouble, we call 911, and we expect someone to show up as soon as possible."
This is how it’s supposed to look.

A Mexican restaurant in Arizona offering free meals to ICE agents and federal law enforcement, not for attention, but out of respect. Treating them like human beings. Like professionals doing a hard job.

Rivas is an outspoken supporter of President Trump and ran unsuccessfully in the GOP primary for Arizona's 7th Congressional District last year. He told Fox News Digital it was crucial to support ICE agents who are "being attacked."
And he is right. In January, ICE reported an over 1,300% increase in assaults, a 3,200% increase in vehicle attacks aimed at officers, and an 8,000% increase in death threats. Federal agents are being targeted with violence for doing their jobs and enforcing immigration law.
But instead of thanking Rivas for supporting law enforcement, the left is trying to destroy him. According to San Diego Red, the restaurant has been "inundated with a renewed wave of threatening phone calls, hateful messages on social media, and calls for a boycott."
This is the state of the country. A restaurant owner offers free meals to federal agents risking their lives to protect Americans, and he gets death threats for it.
Rivas faced similar backlash in 2016 for publicly supporting Trump's presidential campaign. The mob came for him then, and they are coming for him now. But he is not backing down.
"We must give them our support," Rivas said.
He is absolutely right. ICE agents deserve respect, not hatred. And Sammy's Mexican Grill deserves customers, not boycotts.
