- What Happened: CIA Director Ratcliffe retracted or revised 19 intelligence reports dating from 2015 through 2023, with 17 permanently deleted and two revised and re-released after a review found they failed to meet standards for analytic tradecraft and political independence.
- Why It Matters: The retracted reports covered DEI topics including white women and motherhood as extremism threats, abortion access, and LGBT issues, far outside the CIA's national security mission, with many citing radical left-wing sources.
- Bottom Line: The retractions follow earlier CIA self-criticism over the Russia collusion assessment and come as federal prosecutors are reportedly zeroing in on former CIA Director John Brennan.
The CIA just admitted what conservatives have been saying for a decade: American intelligence agencies were weaponized for political purposes, and the evidence is now public record.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced Friday that the agency is retracting or revising 19 intelligence reports spanning from 2015 through 2023, covering the Obama administration, Trump's first term, and the Biden years. Seventeen of the reports have been permanently deleted. Two were recalled, revised, and re-released.
"The intelligence products we released to the American people today, produced before my tenure as DCIA, fall short of the high standards of impartiality that CIA must uphold and do not reflect the expertise for which our analysts are renowned," Ratcliffe said. "There is absolutely no room for bias in our work."
As I reported in 2024 during my coverage of the documents case in Florida, emails produced by the defense (including Nauta’s attorney) proved that Deputy White House counsel Jonathan Su was the conduit between Biden WH and DOJ (and NARA).

Just more evidence that the Biden DOJ… https://t.co/aA3Dh0QqwE
The retracted reports read less like national security intelligence and more like a college diversity seminar. Topics included white women and violent extremism, traditional motherhood as a pathway to radicalization, abortion access during COVID, and LGBT activist pressure in the Middle East. One 2021 Biden-era report literally suggested that women who pursue traditional motherhood were potential violent extremist recruits. The same report cited a radical intersectional website that also published articles with titles like "Dismantling the Cult of the Penis" and "Sexual Frustration Is at the Root of the Political Right."
This is your CIA. On your dime.

Obama, Biden used doctored intel to attack political foes
First there were parents flagged at school board meetings. Then it was Catholics who preferred the traditional Latin Mass who were targeted for scrutiny.

Sen. Tom Cotton, chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, had seen enough of these reports long before Friday's announcement. "I've been sending these kind of reports back to the CIA for years and observing that they contain no intelligence," Cotton wrote on X, adding that intelligence agencies have "too often missed critical national-security developments to waste time on, for instance, how pandemic-related contraceptive shortfalls threaten economic development."
A senior CIA official confirmed that "under prior administrations, there was an inappropriate insertion of DEI issues and other distractions into aspects of CIA's work, which undercut our mission of providing objective analysis on national security issues." The reports were initially flagged by Trump's Intelligence Advisory Board during a review of hundreds of CIA products over the last decade, then confirmed by an internal CIA review led by Deputy Director Michael Ellis.
BREAKING TONIGHT: Fox News has obtained information that directly contradicts the Biden administration’s claim it had nothing to do with the Department of Justice’s raid on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida.

Friday's retractions are not happening in a vacuum. They follow the CIA's own self-critique last summer over the Russia collusion assessment, which found that former Director John Brennan pushed to include Christopher Steele's debunked dossier against the explicit objections of CIA analysts who called it a tradecraft failure. Federal prosecutors are now reportedly targeting Brennan directly.
Add in the Biden DOJ's memo targeting parents at school board meetings, the FBI's anti-Catholic intelligence product distributed to over 1,000 agents, and now 19 deleted CIA reports pushing left-wing ideology as national security analysis, and a pattern emerges that is impossible to ignore.
The deep state was real. The CIA just confirmed it in writing.
