OUCH!
- What Happened: Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked against President Trump on Tuesday, the same day Georgia's 14th District held its special election to replace her.
- Why It Matters: Trump called Greene "not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA," "Marjorie Traitor Brown," and "a very dumb person" after her January resignation. Georgia Republicans are voting Tuesday to replace her with Clay Fuller, Trump's hand-picked America First candidate. No Cabinet member has indicated any willingness to invoke the 25th Amendment.
- Bottom Line: While Trump is conducting the most consequential foreign policy operation in a generation, the woman he replaced is siding with Ilhan Omar and CODEPINK to remove him. Georgia is getting the last word today.
On the most consequential night of the Iran war, as President Trump faced down a civilization-defining deadline and the world held its breath, Marjorie Taylor Greene chose a side. It was not Trump's.
"25TH AMENDMENT!!! Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness," Greene posted on X Tuesday morning, responding directly to Trump's Truth Social warning that Iran's "whole civilization will die tonight" if a deal is not reached by 8 PM.

The same day. The same hour. Georgia's 14th Congressional District was already opening its polls to elect her replacement.
Greene resigned from Congress in January as her relationship with Trump collapsed publicly and completely. Trump had called her "not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA." He referred to her as "Marjorie Traitor Brown." He called her "a very dumb person." He celebrated her departure as "great news for the country."

Since leaving office, Greene has increasingly found common cause with the left on foreign policy. In March she told CNN that Trump's Iran operation was creating a "perverted, deranged version" of MAGA and called it "100% a betrayal." She appeared on 60 Minutes to criticize Trump's foreign policy priorities. She aligned herself publicly with CODEPINK, the hard-left anti-war group whose cofounder Medea Benjamin described Greene as a "strong anti-war voice in Congress." Greene confirmed she had "enjoyed a friendship" with Benjamin "for a few years." She recently headlined a fundraiser for Rep. Thomas Massie alongside rhetoric about "Jewish billionaires."
Now she is calling for the 25th Amendment alongside Rep. Ilhan Omar, who posted Monday that Trump was "an unhinged lunatic" who must be removed. The 25th Amendment requires the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet to declare the president unable to discharge his duties. Not a single Cabinet member has indicated any willingness to do so. JD Vance and the entire Trump Cabinet remain firmly behind the president and the Iran operation. As Axios noted bluntly, none of this is happening.

Republicans are the ones losing their minds right now.
We have MTG and Alex Jones openly calling for the 25th Amendment to remove our own President — over foreign policy disagreements.
We have Tucker Carlson and Candace… pic.twitter.com/wxW3ozp2av
Trump endorsed Clay Fuller to replace Greene in February. Fuller is the district attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit and a lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard. Trump called him an "America First Patriot" who will carry out the administration's agenda in Congress. Fuller faces Democrat Shawn Harris, who lost to Greene by 30 points in 2024. Cook Political Report rates the district solidly Republican.

Trump posted Monday night urging Georgia Republicans to vote. "I am asking all Republicans, America First Patriots, and MAGA Warriors, to please GET OUT AND VOTE for a fantastic Candidate, Clay Fuller, who has my Complete and Total Endorsement!"

Good, STORM THE POLLS and fill this seat with a Republican! Polls close at 7PM 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/IjRCl1mIpy
Georgia's 14th District is doing exactly what Trump asked. They are going to the polls today to replace the woman who just called for his removal with a man who will fight for his agenda.
Marjorie Taylor Greene said Trump's Iran operation is a betrayal of his voters. Georgia's 14th District is about to respond. The verdict will come before the bombs do.
