Patriot Brief
- What Happened: Hillary Clinton published a new essay attacking President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement as morally corrupt while the House Oversight Committee moved to hold Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress.
- Why It Matters: Clinton’s rhetoric escalates political tensions as investigations into the Epstein matter and immigration enforcement remain unresolved.
- Bottom Line: The Clintons are under renewed scrutiny even as Hillary Clinton shifts the spotlight to Trump and his supporters.
Hillary Clinton is once again lecturing the country about morality, just as Congress tightens the screws on her family.
In an essay published in The Atlantic titled “MAGA’s War on Empathy,” the former secretary of state accused President Donald Trump and his supporters of what she called deep “moral rot.” Clinton argued that the MAGA movement has abandoned Christian values and replaced compassion with cruelty, claiming, “That compassion is weak and cruelty is strong has become an article of MAGA faith.”
Her comments come as the House Oversight Committee moves toward a vote to hold both Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress after they allegedly snubbed depositions tied to the Epstein investigation. The timing did not go unnoticed.
Being lectured about “deep moral rot” by *checks notes* Hillary Clinton.

What a joke!
In the essay, Clinton cited recent confrontations in Minnesota involving federal immigration agents, including the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both of which remain under investigation. She argued those incidents prove that Trump supporters embrace fear and inhumanity as a political strategy. “Trump and his allies believe that the more inhumane the treatment, the more likely it is to spread fear,” she wrote.
Clinton also invoked Scripture, accusing the MAGA movement of rejecting the teachings of Jesus and twisting Christianity into what she described as Christian nationalism built on “savagery.” It is a familiar line of attack from a politician who once labeled Trump voters a “basket of deplorables.”
That's not saying much. Even Satan quotes scripture.
The White House dismissed the essay outright. Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital the administration had no reaction, calling Clinton irrelevant and mocking the publication itself.
As Congress weighs contempt charges and investigations continue, Clinton’s latest essay reads less like moral reflection and more like political deflection. While she condemns others for cruelty, lawmakers are asking why the Clintons continue to dodge accountability.
