Patriot Brief
- What Happened: The White House press secretary blasted celebrities for demonizing ICE while living behind private security and gated communities.
- Why It Matters: The remarks highlight a stark double standard as celebrities attack federal agents enforcing the law but stayed silent during years of unchecked border chaos.
- Bottom Line: The administration is pushing back on elite hypocrisy while defending law enforcement and border security.
The White House is done tolerating Hollywood’s lectures.
During remarks to the press, the White House press secretary delivered a blunt rebuke to celebrities attacking ICE and federal law enforcement while enjoying lives protected by private security and gated estates. “It’s very ironic and, frankly, sad,” she said, calling out the hypocrisy of multimillionaires demonizing public servants tasked with enforcing the nation’s laws.
She pointed out that many of the same celebrities now raging against ICE were silent when the previous administration allowed the southern border to collapse. That silence, she said, came at a devastating cost. Innocent Americans paid the price as violent crimes surged, including the deaths of Jocelyn Nungaray and Laken Riley, who were killed by individuals who should never have been in the country in the first place.

The contrast could not be clearer. Celebrities with round-the-clock protection are demanding less enforcement for everyone else, while ordinary Americans live with the consequences of failed border policies. The press secretary framed it not as a political argument, but a moral one.
Law enforcement officers do not get the luxury of ideological distance. They show up, do dangerous work, and enforce the laws passed by Congress. Turning them into villains from behind gates and security details is easy. Standing with the victims of lawless borders is harder.
The administration’s message was unmistakable. Border security is not cruelty. Enforcing the law is not oppression. And Americans are tired of being lectured by elites who will never face the consequences of the policies they promote.
The era of letting that hypocrisy slide appears to be over.
