• What Happened: White House border czar Tom Homan confirmed on Fox News that mass deportation is happening, saying ICE will prioritize public safety and national security threats first while making clear no one in the country illegally is off the table.
  • Why It Matters: Homan says ICE is working harder now because of four years of open borders that allowed over 10 million people to enter the country illegally, many of whom he describes as public safety and national security threats.
  • Bottom Line: Record deportation numbers are already being reported, and Homan says targeted enforcement operations focused on the most dangerous individuals first is the right approach, not an abandonment of the broader mission.

Tom Homan has a message for every person in this country illegally, and he delivered it without blinking on Fox News Thursday.

There will be mass deportation.

The White House border czar appeared on The Story and laid out exactly where things stand after four years of what he called an open border that released over 10 million people into the United States, many of them posing direct threats to public safety and national security.

"ICE is just doing the same thing they've done in the last three decades. It's just that they got more work to do now because of the last four years of open border," Homan said.

For anyone suggesting that prioritizing violent criminals and national security threats means the administration is walking away from its deportation promises, Homan shut that down immediately.

"Look at the numbers. We already got record numbers of deportation," he said. "Arresting the public safety threat first makes sense because you're the biggest danger to the community. Prioritize public safety threats and national security threats doesn't mean to forget about everybody else."

Then came the line that every person here illegally needs to hear loud and clear.

"I've said it from day one, if you're in the country illegally, you're not off the table. We're looking for you, and we'll remove you when we find you."

President Trump made a promise to the American people. Homan is making sure that promise gets kept. The open border era produced a backlog that ICE is now working around the clock to address, starting with the most dangerous individuals and working outward from there.

This is what a functioning border policy looks like. It took four years to break it. Trump and Homan are fixing it.
