Court records show that on July 28, police raided a home near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road, finding $300,000 in cash, 1.5 kilograms of cocaine and almost a pound of methamphetamine.

Police arrested two men as part of a five-month investigation titled “CWT-466.” The first man, 25-year-old Victor Perez-Berrera, is considered by police to be a “high-ranking member of a drug organization.”

Police say this organization is responsible for selling $6 million a year in cocaine and methamphetamine in the Phoenix metro area.

A judge gave Berrera a $100,000 cash bond on charges of conspiracy, money laundering and dangerous drugs for sale.

The second man arrested by police was 40-year-old Oscar Bailon-Aguirre.

Aguirre, who is in the United States without proper documentation, reportedly told police that if he were given the opportunity he would never sell drugs again.

He was given a cash bond of $50,000 on charges of conspiracy, money laundering and dangerous drugs for sale.
