Arika Stovell and her boyfriend Hunter were out for a drive in Hunter’s truck when things took a turn for the worst and disaster struck. Hunter lost control of the truck going 85 miles an hour. They spun off the side of the road and slammed into a pilar on the side of the road, completely mangling the vehicle beyond recognition.
When Arika opened her eyes all she could see was the wreckage that she and her boyfriend were trapped in and her boyfriend’s body which was motionless with his head through the windshield. Just as things looked their bleakest Arika noticed one more thing, a man looking back at her and smiling from outside the car.
Even more surprising was what they found when the couple came back a few days later to examine the wreckage.
In a Facebook post Arika recounted the entire event. She claimed that once the truck went off the road God took control and steered the vehicle directly into the pole, making sure that it the impact didn’t crush either of them. She couldn’t believe what happened next.
They had gone off the road with nobody around to see them plunge into the pole and when things looked their darkest and the young couple was pinned in the rubble she looked out he window and saw “him.” She described as her “guardian angel.”
“There was a man, bright with a big white beard. No other cars in sight, just this man,” Arika explained in her post. “He was my guardian angel.” She went on to say that she doesn’t know if this was a hallucination or if she was even conscious or if it was a true sight from heaven, however when you look at the 48 hour recovery that both Arika and Hunter made and what they discovered in the wreckage the man must have been sent by God to keep the two of them safe and cary out his plan.
Although the truck was reduced to a mangle heap of metal, totally unrecognizable from its former state, neither of them sustained any broken bones or internal injury. In fact, the two of them only suffered scrapes and bruises and were able to leave the hospital after only two days.
On their way home from the hospital they decided to stop by the wreck and check out the scene of the crash. Inside the truck Arika discovered the only other thing that had survived the crash, Hunter’s bible. Not only that, but it was open to a scripture saying not to be afraid, that Jesus was with them, a clear omen to God’s presence in protecting the couple in the would-be fatal accident.
“I am amazed. Absolutely taken away by the presence of God, so blessed for him sending me an angel, so thankful for Hunter and his second chance at life, for his healing and health,” Arika said and then closed with a prayer for anyone who read her miraculous story.
This truly is living proof of God’s will and plan for all of us and Arika’s message for the world was to just accept that plan and know that God will take care of the rest.
