The footage was captured by an elevator security camera. In the footage, Lam is seen exiting and re-entering the elevator, talking and gesturing in the hallway outside, and sometimes seeming to hide within the elevator which itself appears to be malfunctioning. The video went viral on the Internet, and many people found it unsettling. Explanations ranged from claims of paranormal involvement to the bipolar disorder from which Lam suffered. But no one had been able to state definitively as to why Liam was acting weirdly in the elevator.

To prove to her boss that she was trapped, Anisa snapped a photo of the crash site. Surprisingly, the photo showed a ray of light beaming down on the crash scene as two lighter patches appear to fly up out of the wreck. After looking at the photo, Anisa’s aunt, Tara Noble, tracked down the victim’s family and showed them the photo. The family believed it shows their loved ones “ascending to heaven” after the tragedy.
