Woman Wakes Up At Train Station With Note & 2 Items Left By A Stranger [VIDEO]

Ellie Farnfield woke up alone and confused outside a train station with no knowledge of what had happened to her or why she was there. She then found a note from a strange man, along with two items he left for her.

The last thing Ellie remembered before coming back into consciousness was getting on the train Wednesday evening in London, headed home to Manchester. The 27-year-old part-time acupuncture student didn’t make it to where she thought she was going. Instead, she ended up alone at the station and pulled from the train, with a note and a couple of items from a man named “Tom” that offered some insight on how she ended up in that precarious position.

Tom had been on the train with Ellie when she went into a seizure and fell to the floor during her fit. Others on the crowded transit system ignored this woman as she suffered alone in her medical emergency. Tom came along, looked down, and saw what was happening. As others stood by, Tom stepped up to help her out. He pulled her from the train to the station, but he didn’t just leave it at that.

When Ellie didn’t wake up before Tom had to take off, he left her with a note, a coffee, and taxi fare. When she finally came to, she was shocked to see where she was, but she was more surprised to read what Tom had written to her.

“Eleanor, I hope by the time you read this you are feeling better. You had a seizure on the train and I took you off,” the neatly written note began. But then he went into detail about everything that had happened to her along with what he had arranged. “You didn’t hit your head but I may have hurt your leg as I walked on it before realizing you were on the floor having a fit! sorry!”

She could surely forgive him for any leg pain after what she read next. “I’m also sorry I can’t stay with you now but here is a coffee to perk you up later and $10 to make sure you get a taxi home. Sorry I don’t have any more money so I hope you don’t live far away.”

Without any other identifying information on who her hero was, the good Samaritan simply ended his sweet note and kind gesture saying, “I’ve contacted people from your phone and medical help is on its way and you’re with train staff. Wishing you all the best and a quick recovery. Love Tom.”

Ellie was more than appreciative that this caring person’s path crossed with her’s and that not only did he help her, but he didn’t do anything to harm her in her very vulnerable situation. Desperate to find this awesome man, who she said “restored her faith in humanity,” she took the note to Facebook, asking for the public’s help in tracking him down. It’s since been shared over 1000 times and sparked a hashtag for the cause — #findtraintom.

“Anything could have happened. I could have hit my head, fallen off the train, been there for a long time. I just want to thank Tom for his help. I’d tell him, ‘You’re a star and I really, really appreciate it,’” Ellie told MailOnline. “I’d also like to return the money. There is something really lovely about the kindness of a stranger,” she added, saying that she would like to buy this guy a drink for his generosity.

Ellie is still in search of her knight in shining armor, and we certainly hope she’s able to find him to give him the thanks he deserves. This man was in the right place at the right time to help a perfect stranger and do something good when others chose not to. There are angels among us and anyone can be one, as long as your heart is open to serving people when you see an opportunity, instead of assuming someone else will.
