Woman Arrested After Sticking Finger Into Brothers Burrito Then Stabbing Him

A woman was arrested after authorities say she attacked her brother after she stuck her fingers into a burrito he was eating.

Local police responded to a home in 2400 block of Lasso Drive on Wednesday after a male caller said that a female was drunk and had attacked him with a knife.

According to the investigation, the man, who turns out to be the woman’s brother, said he was in the kitchen with 55-year-old Cheryl Lenihan, when she stuck her fingers in a burrito he was eating.

The man told the authorities that he and Lenihan began arguing about the cleanliness before he walked out the back door.

Sadly, when the victim returned to the kitchen, he said Lenihan grabbed a knife and swung it back and forth at him. When he asked her what she was doing, she then held the knife above her head and began stabbing at him, reports say.

The victim told investigators it was like a scene out of “Bates Motel.” He says he pushed Lenihan away from him, causing her to fall and drop the knife on the stove.

In after which, he then grabbed the knife and put it in a paper bag before hiding it outside.

Local authorities say Lenihan was extremely intoxicated when they questioned her, saying nothing happened and her brother had no reason to call the police.

Officers noticed a cut on her left elbow and knot over her right eye, which she couldn’t remember how she got them in the first place.

Lenihan’s other brother, who was also in the house, spoke to the responding police. He told the officers he heard her and the victim arguing about her sticking her fingers in the burrito. By the time he walked to the kitchen, he saw Lenihan lying on the floor.

When the officers told the other brother the victim’s story of events, police say the man looked the officer in the eyes and said “It probably did happen.”

Lenihan is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which is a 2nd degree felony.
