Andrea Heming didn’t want to have sex with her husband and she imagined he was having sex with her while she slept, so she decided to put a stop to it. The couple had been married for four years and I guess she figured she put in enough time with him. So in order to stop him from getting erections (she says) she began putting boric acid in his Lucky Charms and whipped cream. My, she’s a regular Betty Crocker. Her husband started getting nose bleeds and daily diarrhea. He was shocked when he found out what she had been doing.
According to KSNV, Heming had been married to her husband for four years when she began slipping the cockroach killer boric acid into his food. She hoped the poison would make him stop trying to have sex with her.
Heming put the acid in his Lucky Charms cereal and whipped cream, and she added it to his energy drinks. She told police that she used the poison on her husband because he forced sex on her while she slept.
Her victim, known as “Ralph,” was suffering from nosebleeds and daily diarrhea. He described feeling ill months before his wife was arrested for poisoning him:
“I had been getting sick awhile back. Like six to eight months. I got stomach cramps.”
Ralph was shocked Heming was poisoning him, but he told KSNV his wife had shown her wicked side years earlier:
“She did reveal to me a story where she was a flight attendant at one time, and she had a customer — you know a passenger who was she said was unruly. She actually put sedatives in her drink.”
Heming was finally caught when security cameras showed her repeatedly poisoning her husband’s Lucky Charms.
When questioned by police, she justified her decision:
“I wouldn’t use that much to kill him, but just enough to make him not have an erection.”
She eventually pleaded guilty to the crimes and she made a plea bargain that would put her in prison for 15 years but she failed to show for the sentencing hearing and has disappeared. There is speculation that she may have gone to Mexico.
