It has returned.
At least, that’s what they’re saying.
According to CBS News, three new COVID-19 strains are circulating throughout the country, and while the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has not announced new mask restrictions, several schools and companies have already reinstated them.
But, while the rest of the country prepares for lockdowns, requirements, and full-fledged terror at the sight of a sniffle, one Texas city is making sure they don’t have to go through it again.
By presenting a resolution that prohibits the enforcement of mask mandates, company lockdowns, and vaccine mandates, the Odessa City Council in Texas has taken a major step toward protecting human liberties and medical independence.

The new resolution, which took effect Tuesday night, declares unambiguously that no adverse action or punishment can be imposed on individuals who refuse to receive a medical treatment that involves the administration of a vaccine.
According to The Daily Caller, which reviewed the document, the resolution states that “[A] person may not take an adverse action or impose a penalty of any kind against an individual lawfully residing in this City for the individual’s refusal or failure to obtain a medical treatment involving the administration of a vaccine.”
Odessa City Council Member Chris Hanie told the Caller, “This is to maintain our freedoms that we have not already lost. When we impose actions for the greater good, it’s important to remember that our bodies are our own.”
Concerns about the COVID-19 vaccination, an increase in occurrences of heart failure in youngsters, and the emergence of autoimmune illnesses have all been well documented.

The family of a 24-year-old college student who died from “COVID-19 vaccine-related myocarditis” after receiving a dose of Pfizer’s COVID vaccination sued the Biden administration’s Department of Defense in June.
Other research has found that lockdowns were inefficient at best and, in many circumstances, damaging to youngsters and the elderly.
While these discussions continue, the Odessa City Council’s decision acknowledges that a one-size-fits-all strategy is not the ideal option. Individuals can make informed decisions based on their own circumstances and ideas thanks to the resolution.
State Representative Brian Harrison, a supporter of medical liberty, endorsed the resolution, highlighting the necessity of Texans taking the lead in the battle against COVID-related restrictions.
“Texans should be leading the fight against COVID tyranny, but since Texas House Leadership made the shocking decision to keep COVID vaccine mandates in Texas, I’m proud to partner with local officials to help deliver medical freedom for everyone in Odessa,” he said to The Daily Caller.
“With Biden trying to bring back COVID tyranny, hopefully this will inspire all elected Republicans to fight back,” he added.
Thankfully, Texas exists.
When everything else seems to be going to hell, this one state provides us hope that common sense can still win in America.
Well, except for Austin.
Sorry guys.
