Rep. George Santos (R-NY) threatened other Republicans on Wednesday after being arrested on 10 more felony counts in a 23-count superseding indictment released this week for suspected campaign finance offenses.
One count of conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, two counts of wire fraud, two counts of making materially false statements to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), two counts of falsifying records submitted to obstruct the FEC, two counts of aggravated identity theft, and one count of access device fraud were included in the new charges.
Santos informed reporters that he would not accept a plea offer because he could establish his “innocence.”
Nancy Marks, Santos’ former campaign treasurer, pled guilty to offenses in the case last week.
When asked by reporters if he blamed her, he said no and then added:
“I’m just saying it wasn’t me. I didn’t handle the finances. That is why you pay treasurers and fundraisers.”
A group of six New York Republican freshman lawmakers announced this week that they were introducing “an expulsion resolution to rid the People’s House of fraudster, George Santos.”

Santos stated on Wednesday afternoon in response to the expulsion proposal, claiming that it was supported by “anti-American… WEAK RINO’s.”
“Remember if I’m in fact ousted fascism will officially be well and alive in the United States of America and these members will be the champions of it,” he claimed. “I do want to remind my dear colleagues who all but one have deep long troubling careers in politics that I will have a lot of time on my hands to return the favor in the most expedient fashion mankind has ever seen.”
“I’m done with the hypocrisy and the projection coming from the same individuals for the last 10 months!” he added.
Shouldn’t AOC and Ilhan Omar be expelled as well? I’m not saying Santos shouldn’t, but they were found committing serious election breaches.
This country is going to hell in a handbasket thanks to the liberal lunatics in charge.
