Sometimes, people don’t become fire breathing dragons until one is needed.
You have seen those people before in life, we all have. The quiet unassuming person who just sits in the corner and keeps to themselves until someone decides to mess with them or someone that they hold dear. Then, an absolute demon comes out of them.
Rand Paul is becoming that particular dragon. Seeing as how there are so many people now that are turning into cowards when it comes to defending America, he saw that someone had to step up and defend this great nation of ours.
Senator Rand Paul smacked George Stephanopoulos around like a piñata on Sunday. The knock-down drag-out battle began when the subject of election integrity came up. Often called a “lone wolf” warrior in Washington, all the ABC talking head had to do was crack open the door and the Kentucky Libertarian pounced through it and went straight for the jugular.
Rand Paul, like his father Ron Paul before him, has become a fixture at the nation’s capitol and earned a solid reputation as a defender of Lady Liberty’s honor.
He’s reportedly “stared down threats of physical violence more than once, gotten shot, gotten pushed around and knocked down, and continues to rise again to demand integrity in the elections on behalf of his Kentucky constituents.” He certainly did on Sunday, at a time when America needs a champion.
Senator Rand Paul has a reputation for doing his homework and so far, he’s not convinced one way or the other on the subject of alleged election fraud. “I don’t know if the voter fraud changed the election, but I have an open mind about it,” he told the ABC host.
The part that worries him is that the press isn’t willing to have an open mind. “Journalists should want to hear both sides of the issue.” He wasted no time zeroing in on Stephanopoulos. “You are not a journalist,” he accused. “You are just saying that Republicans are liars.”
Then it got good. “There are two sides to every story. George, you’re forgetting who you are,” Rand reminded.
