Chick-fil-A is returning to Portland after nearly two decades away.

Chick-fil-According to The Oregonian, A is currently in the permitting process to create a restaurant in a facility that presently contains a strip club.

According to the study, Chick-fil-A closed its downtown Portland outlet in the Lloyd Center retail center in 2003.

Chick-fil-A’s permission to operate in building upgrades and landscaping would be included in the Venue Gentleman’s Club. There would be no drive-thru at the eatery.

The new facility is in Portland’s Hazelwood district, near the airport.

For the time being, Portland locals looking for a Chick-fil-A sandwich will have to settle for other suburban locales. According to the strip club, Chick-fil-A will not take over for at least a year.

Chick-fil-A according to TMZ, appears in unexpected places these days, such as the Met Gala.

Teyana Taylor brought her own food to the event, opting to eat Chick-fil-A instead of the event’s menu.

Chick-fil-A has also established itself along the New York State Thruway, which is revamping the services and merchants at its rest areas. According to WSYR-TV, ten Chick-fil-A restaurants will open after the renovations are completed.

According to LoHud.com, the Chick-fil-A at the Plattekill rest stop south of Albany debuted on Wednesday.

However, as Takeout pointed out, there was a side order of controversy with the introduction of Chick-fil-A along the Thruway because, according to corporate policy, its locations are closed on Sundays – which are among the busiest days.

According to QSR, Chick-fil-A made $18.814 billion in sales in the United States last year. Since 2019, when sales hit $12.2 billion, sales have climbed every year.

According to the research, there were 2,429 company-operated and franchised Chick-fil-A restaurants as of the end of last year, up from 2,117 in 2019.

Using drive-thru traffic as a metric of popularity, QSR said that in a survey, it observed 10 or more automobiles at Chick-fil-A 16% of the time, compared to 2% at McDonald’s.

The QSR survey also measured how quickly consumers went through drive-thru lines, and Chick-fil-A took first place, with the average customer waiting 107.41 seconds.
