Two Boys Jump Out Of The Car And Begin Shoveling, Dad Beams With Pride When He Sees Why

Daniel Medina was confused when his children randomly asked him to stop the car while navigating frosty roads.

His bewilderment soon turned to shock and awe when he finally realized why.

“Proud dad moment we’re driving down south 60th st near Morgan and my two sons aged 10 and 6 asked me to pull over because they just saw a guy in a wheelchair trying to shovel his corner lot and they wanted to help,” wrote Medina on Facebook after capturing the moment with his camera.

What’s more, the children reportedly refused to stop shoveling until they were completely finished.

Their act warmed not only their Dad’s heart, but many hearts all over the country.

“It’s just such a good feeling to see two young men with compassion in their hearts toward others,” wrote one woman on Love What Matters’ Facebook page. “Bravo boys. Great job mom and dad for setting an example and raising them right. Blessings to all.”

But it turns out the boys aren’t the only ones who have gone out of their way to shovel snow for the disadvantaged.

“Had this happen last year my husband and I both in our sixties were out [shoveling] our drive when two young men in a pickup truck stopped jumped out took shovels out and finished drive for us,” recalled another woman. “I wanted to pay them but they refused. About ten minutes later they returned with a napkin and their phone number in case we ever needed shoveling done again.”

Another woman recalled the time strangers literally shoveled the snow as her elderly friends walked behind.

“My 82 and 92 year old friends told me the exact story,” wrote the woman on Medina’s Facebook post. “They had to walk 1 block for breakfast at a restaurant and a neighbor shoveled the walk all the way for these two people to walk safely. She said…I guess I am finally looking my age!”
