Scroll down for video) A woman is devastated after her twin sister plunged to her death while trying to catch her falling hat at the World Trade Center, according to police in New York.
The Port Authority Police said that at around 5:30 a.m., on Sunday, officers were called to the entrance of the PATH train in Lower Manhattan, on reports of a woman who was injured following a fall.
According to the police investigation, 29-year-old Jenny Santos and her sister, 29-year-old Jessica Santos, were riding the escalator when Jessica’s hat fell.
Jenny reached to grab the falling hat, but she lost her balance and plunged over the railing. She fell more than 30 feet to the ground.
Jenny was rushed to the Bellevue Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
