Around 2:00 p.m., the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office reported getting a call concerning a snowmobile collision in the Mill Hollow neighborhood.
Kenneth Block, a 55-year-old man from Park City, Utah, was the driver when the snowmobile overturned and landed on top of him, according to a statement from the police. “He was pronounced dead at the scene from accidents-related injuries.”
Block was traveling with a group, according to law officials, but was riding alone when the accident occurred.

Block co-founded Hoonigan Industries, which released a message on social media announcing his passing.
We regret to inform you that Ken Block lost his life today in a snowmobile accident, according to the statement. Ken was a trailblazer, an idol, and a visionary. And last but not least, a husband and father. Extremely, he will be missed.
Before he started driving rally cars professionally, Block co-founded the well-known skate shoe firm DC Shoes. His likable demeanor attracted new fans to the sport, and several of his racing videos amassed millions of YouTube views.
His wife and three kids are left behind.
It was unknown whether any of the snowmobiles in the pictures Block published from his property in Utah earlier this week were involved in the tragedy.
