Thugs Beat Elderly Man In Front Of His Wife, Didn’t Expect Painful Instant Justice [VIDEO]

Thugs Beat Elderly Man In Front Of His Wife, Didn’t Expect Painful Instant Justice [VIDEO]

A pair of thugs gets what they deserve after bullying a 65-year-old man.

The elderly man was walking with his wife on a Philadelphia street around 8:30 p.m. when they were approached by two men, 21 and 20, and an argument ensued. The reason of the argument was unknown at this time, which quickly escalated into a physical attack.

One of those men said to the husband, “What are you looking at?” then punched him, threw him to the ground and continued assaulting him.

Then they turned their attention to the wife, in her 50s, punching and knocking her down as well.

As his wife watched helplessly, the two thugs began mercilessly beating her husband, but he would soon put it all to an abrupt end, much to the surprise of the punks, who were about to get an unanticipated and painful dose of justice.

According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the pair of punks were “punching” the man, causing “bruising to his face,” but their attack didn’t last long. The victim was prepared to defend himself, having obtained his concealed carry license.

Surveillance video shows the two men who were shot slowly making their way across Bainbridge Street at 2nd.

He has a valid permit to carry a weapon, and he used his .45 caliber when he and his wife were attacked.

In the video, a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach sits down outside a bar. His friend, 21 years old, who is holding his neck and shoulder area where he was shot, stands as people arrive to help.

Soon after, police can be seen arriving and taking the men to the hospital.

The 21-year-old was hit once in the neck, and the 20-year-old was hit in the stomach, WCAU said, adding that one is in stable condition while the other is in serious condition.

The 65-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment, but the husband did his job in defending himself and his wife, as she was not hurt.

“A lot of commotion, a lot of commotion. From what we heard, ‘Old Man Sal’ – we kind of know him from the neighborhood,” said Anthony Conte. “Heard there was a little bit of a ruckus and he pulled out a gun and shot a couple of people.”

“They attack him. They attacked his wife. He begged to stop. Him and his wife pulled away. They kept on coming,” said Kenneth Young. “He explained he has a firearm. They said they don’t care. They punched him in the face.”

“You’re walking down the street. You shouldn’t be attacked for no reason,” said Ariel McArdle.

“I think the moral of the story is you just never know who’s packing heat,” said Conte. ” ‘Old man Sal’ was packing so you gotta watch out. And it’s a shame it went down. I hope those kids are OK.”

At this time, it is unknown whether any charges will result from the shooting. As The Blaze reports, “Police told WCAU the district attorney’s office will determine whether or not the shooting in the Queen Village section of the city was in self-defense.”

We can only hope and pray that the elderly man is not charged for what’s clearly the appropriate use of his Second Amendment rights. These two punks thought they had an easy target and that the odds were in their favor. The firearm leveled the playing field, allowing this man and his wife to be protected from harm. Meanwhile, it’s quite likely that the two assailants were taught an unforgettable lesson about their behavior.

Thanks to this law-abiding citizen utilizing the rights laid out for us in our Constitution, everything seems to have turned out just as it should. Hopefully, the DA’s office sees it that way as well.
