Large numbers of undocumented immigrants are overrunning neighborhoods along the southern border.
Over the weekend, a migrant “caravan” with more than a thousand members illegally crossed the border at El Paso, Texas.
Video shot by Bill Melugin of Fox News shows the caravan crossing the Rio Grande to enter the American metropolis.
Melugin, a seasoned reporter covering illegal immigration, said the “caravan” was the biggest gathering of migrants he had ever seen.
Melugin claimed that a large number of illegal immigrants had already been released into the neighborhood.

Mexican officials appeared to have helped the caravan cross the border into the United States by busing them into the nearby city of Ciudad Juarez.

Authorities are watching an even larger “caravan” of migrants as it travels north through Mexico en route to the United States, according to WNTZ-TV.
That group has reached the northern Mexican city of Chihuahua, according to El Paso Matters.
The impending expiration of Title 42, a Trump-era immigration provision that permits the federal government to remove many illegal border crossers on the grounds of the coronavirus outbreak, has given large groups of potential illegal aliens more confidence.
It is forbidden to cross the southern border outside of an authorized port of entry.
It is anticipated that many of the migrants will apply for asylum under the law, which protects foreigners from persecution in their native countries.
Under the Biden administration, asylum approval rates have climbed, and many applicants are freed from custody given a court date.
The Biden administration has already broken the all-time record for the most apprehensions of illegal immigrants in one year, according to the Washington Examiner.
Title 42 is set to expire on December 21, according to WNTZ.
