This US Based Company Is Taking ALL 800 Employees On A Cruise To The Caribbean Sea
As the post-holiday winter months approach, most of us can look forward to gray skies, cold weather, and mountains of New Year’s work and responsibility.
While we fester in Snuggies, dreaming of the summer sun, lucky employees of one generous company will be soaking up Vitamin D and taking in views of the Caribbean sea.
The 800+ employees of Bertch Cabinets will be departing on a FREE Caribbean Cruise in just a few days. The Iowa-based company took to Facebook to share the good news — making the rest of us very jealous.
“We leave January 8,” Bertch Cabinets president Gary Bertch told the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier. “We’ve got four charter aircraft that will be flying directly to Miami Sunday and staying at a nice five-star hotel. Then on Monday, we’ll bus over from the hotel to the port and load up on the ship.”
Needless to say, people were struck by the incredible gift. Some were so impressed, they even offered the company their business for future kitchen remodels.
Perhaps all the new business will finance another epic trip in 2018/
And what spawned this unparalleled generosity?
The trip, Berch says, is a reward for the great effort to meet the company’s goals for the year. He actually offered the vacation as an incentive a year ago.
“We just tried to get all of our people pumped up a little more to achieve the various goals, both customer-oriented goals and financial goals,” he said.
