A cardiologist laughed at the unvaccinated, but I guess what goes around comes around, at least for him. He ended up being in a world of hurt, to say the least.

A 52-year-old cardiologist located in New Brunswick has suddenly died in his sleep just a few weeks after he got the COVID-19 booster shot. Apparently, he is now learning that what goes around comes around.

It was just this past summer that Dr. Sahrab Lutchmedial made headlines when he attacked “selfish” people who had decided against taking the COVID-19 vaccination. One thing is for certain: the man definitely had his share of strong opinions. It’s just a shame that we are now speaking of him in the past tense.

“For those that won’t get the shot for selfish reasons – whatever – I won’t cry at their funeral,” Dr. Lutchmedia said in his 2021 tweet.

Unfortunately, the doctor passed away unexpectedly on November 8th, just a few weeks after he got the COVID-19 booster shot on October 24th. Per a Facebook post, Dr. Sahrab had gotten the third shot as recommended by him and many other medical professionals.

According to Canadian news outlets, Dr. Lutchmedial’s family, friends, and colleagues are in shock over his sudden passing.

A prominent New Brunswick cardiologist has died, leaving behind a large gap in the system and the community, colleagues say.

Dr. Sohrab Lutchmedial dedicated more than 20 years to the New Brunswick Heart Centre and the care of patients suffering from heart disease, said a statement from the staff of the New Brunswick Heart Centre.

“It is with profound sadness that we report the sudden and unexpected death of a colleague, friend, father, partner and inspiring spirit,” the statement says.

Lutchmedial died Monday in his sleep at his Saint John home, said Jean-François Légaré, the head of cardiac surgery at the New Brunswick Heart Centre. He was 52.
