There is a reason that there are tons of memes about the “Florida Man” and this is a prime example of that.
We have seen stories of the “Florida Man” catching snakes with his teeth, running naked through neighborhoods, and wrestling sharks on the beaches but now we have a new one.
Florida Man is now catching alligators with trash cans.
When will someone pick this up and make a series of Florida Man? Seriously, that would be an epic show to watch?
Ok, back to the adventure of this Florida Man.
In the video, you can see Florida man wearing slides and socks, shorts, and a tee, and the plants out front could be from anywhere in the red state but if I had to throw out a guess I’d say Central or Southwest Florida, maybe inland Tampa or the greater Orlando area.
However, that is beside the point.
What I do know about this video is ‘Florida Man’ has started trending in the immediate aftermath of this video hitting Twitter and Instagram. This dude catches an alligator using nothing but a trash can and his testicular fortitude.

I wish there was a follow-up story to this interview with this master of his domain.
Did Florida Man than just casually call 911 and say ‘hey y’all, we got a gator down here trapped in the can. Need you to come and get it.’ Or did they just wheel that can to the nearest pond and let the gator roam free?
There are so many questions that I have but alas, we may never know.
