The teenager accused of throwing her newborn baby out a second-story apartment window has been booked into the Douglas County Youth Center for one count of felony child abuse resulting in death.
Antonia Lopez, 16, is charged as an adult.
Lopez’s bail was set at $500,000 on Tuesday afternoon.
Her next hearing is schedule for Nov. 2 at 9 a.m.
Lopez was a junior at Central High School.

Horrific details emerged Friday after the baby’s death at an Omaha apartment complex that morning.
The infant girl died after falling from a second-story apartment window, Omaha police officials said.
Police said Saturday no further information regarding the infant will be released. Officers said the investigation is ongoing.
