Teacher Gives Disturbing Excuse For Why She Can’t Stop Having Sex With Students [VIDEO]

A high school teacher accused of having sex with six male students allegedly has a brain condition that left her defenseless to the students’ aggressive behavior, according to NBC New York.

Nicole Dufault, 36, Caldwell, N.J., was arrested at her home Wednesday evening, according to the station. She was charged on the following day by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office with multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The condition is the result of a brain surgery she had after her first pregnancy, Smith said on Tuesday. DuFault is a single mother of two.

DuFault was a language arts teacher at Columbia High School in Maplewood before she was arrested.

According to Authorities the victims were 14- and 15-year-old boys and the assaults occurred numerous times between 2013 and 2014. Some of the sex acts occurred on school property and in DuFault’s car, they said. NBC News reports.

One student allegedly filmed a cellphone video of DuFault performing a sex act on another student.

Prosecuting attorney Gina Iosim believes that DuFault is still at fault for the alleged crimes

According to reports Dufault was being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark on $500,000 bail and has been ordered to have no contact with any of the victims.

Dufault is the mother of two young children who have been removed from her custody, according to the station.

The suspect’s neighbor, Maureen Messina, said she has known Dufault for six years. “Seemed like… just an average mom going to work,” Messina told CBS New York. “[If the allegations are true], not only did she destroy her life and her children, but the boys who are involved as well.”

“All too often victims of sexual abuse are demonized by their abusers,” Iosim said. “It takes a tremendous amount of courage for a victim, especially a juvenile victim, to come forward knowing the stigma some in society place on victims of sexual abuse. We continue to prepare for trial so our juvenile victims may find the justice they are seeking.”
