The stray dog you see in the photo is named Way, and she lives in Argentina. As a stray no one gave her much attention until she said the life of a one-month-old child! According to reports, the infant’s mother abandoned her in an alley on a bitterly frigid winter night.
Way had her own litter of pups and must have had a strong maternal instinct to save the infant because she and her pups laid on and around the infant all night long. They kept the child warm until help arrived the next day.
It was Alejandra Griffa who heard the baby crying the next day and rushed the child to the hospital. The mother was found and was arrested by authorities. The newscast below tells of Way’s heroic efforts.
