Someone Is Trying Get Rid Of Ghislane Maxwell! Murder Attempt Narrowly Avoided!

According to lawyers for convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s cellmate, he has made several claims of being offered money to kill Maxwell.

In a court statement Wednesday, Maxwell’s lawyers claimed that “one of the female inmates in Ms. Maxwell’s housing unit told at least three other inmates that she had been offered money to murder Ms. Maxwell and that she planned to strangle her in her sleep.” The inmate who made the threat, they said, has been moved to a separate housing unit in the Brooklyn prison where Maxwell is being held, “presumably to protect Ms. Maxwell.”

She was accused of grooming four minor girls between the 1990s and the early 2000s. She was found guilty of conspiring to persuade juveniles to cross state boundaries for sexual conduct and conspiring with sex traffickers on many counts. On the second count, she was found not guilty of luring “Jane” to travel with the aim of engaging in sexual behavior.

The sixth count, trafficking then-minor “Carolyn,” contains a possible sentence of 40 years, while the count of transporting “Jane” to engage in illicit sexual acts carries a maximum sentence of ten years, and the other three counts each carry a maximum sentence of five years.

Maxwell allegedly watched as Epstein reportedly engaged in sexual acts with 14-year-old “Jane.”

“This incident reflects the brutal reality that there are numerous prison inmates who would not hesitate to kill Ms. Maxwell — whether for money, fame, or simple ‘street cred,'” the lawyers wrote.

Maxwell’s lawyers argued in their sentencing brief that she should be given a lesser sentence for her crimes because of the alleged death threat and a variety of other factors, including her “difficult, traumatic childhood.”

“Ghislaine Maxwell is not an heiress, villain, or vapid socialite. She has worked hard her entire life. She has energy, drive, commitment, a strong work ethic, and desire to do good in the world,” her lawyers wrote.

Maxwell’s poor connection with her “overbearing, egotistical, and demanding father” “rendered her vulnerable to Epstein, whom she met shortly after her father’s death,” they stated.

“It is the biggest mistake she made in her life and one that she has not and never will repeat,” the lawyers asserted.

Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial for his sex crimes. His death has been officially ruled a suicide.

Maxwell’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 28.
