As a conservative, everyone knows that Gretchen Whitmer is one of the country’s worst governors. However, there is some good news on the horizon. It looks like this woman might be on her way out if a new challenger for 2022 gains any steam.
Tudor Dixon is the conservative host of “America’s Voice Live” and she has just announced her intention to run for Governor in Michigan’s GOP primary. “I am excited to announce that I am running for the Governor of Michigan in order to get Michigan back on track. We are going to restore our state and help Michiganders be able to get back to building their American dream once again. Let’s do this Michigan! ”
Dixon is a mother of four, and she has always been a vocal critic of Whitmer’s authoritarian COVID-19 restrictions. “We must do everything in our power to hold our governor and our government accountable for overstepping their boundaries, attacking our businesses and workers, destroying our rights as a free people, and creating rules that they fail to live by themselves,” she said in her statement that announced her candidacy.
“The State of Michigan can’t afford to keep wasting time with this continued and constant hypocrisy and finger-pointing of career politicians such as Gretchen Whitmer,” Dixon added. Her conservative co-host Steve Gruber announced that he was supporting her endeavor in his early morning tweet on May 20th. He called Dixon one of the “most honest and honorable people I have ever met.”
“Tudor has a work ethic that is second to none and she only has the purest of motivations. She wants to be the Governor of Michigan for all of the people. She just believes that she can do better for all of us and I wish the very best for her!”
Let’s just be blunt here: Whitmer is a failure as a Governor. Like the radical left-wing governor in New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo, she has done nothing but put sick COVID patients in nursing homes, and that action likely killed thousands of elderly Michigan residents. Her COVID restrictions are one of the most authoritarian in the country, and she needs to go. There is no question that Dixon is a solid replacement.
What do you think about this new challenger for Gretchen Whitmer’s seat in Michigan? Your comments would be appreciated.
