Soldiers stop attack by machete wielding terrorist at Louver museum (France)

Slashing with a machete and Shouting “Alahu Ackbar” three times.

After being stopped by soldiers telling him that he could not bring the two backpacks he was carrying in to the Carrousel du Louvre shopping mall, the terrorist attacked four soldiers.

“That’s when he got the knife out and that’s when he tried to stab the soldier,” said the official, Yves Lefebvre.

Soldiers attempted to stop the man before having to open fire. The attacker was shot five times.

“He is wounded in the stomach,” police chief Michel Cadot said. “He is conscious and he was moving.” A soldier suffered a minor scalp injury during the attack, according to Cadot.

“We are dealing with an attack from an individual who was clearly aggressive and represented a direct threat, and whose comments lead us to believe that he wished to carry out a terrorist incident,” Cadot said. Cadot also stated that a second person who was “acting suspiciously” also was arrested.

During the last two years, France has increased its security measures as terror attacks have increased in the nation as well as in the capital and the southern city of Nice. There is an increased presence of soldiers in the French capital, as the country remains in an extended state of emergency until July 2017.

President Trump tweeted “A new radical Islamic terrorist has just attacked in Louvre Museum in Paris. Tourists were locked down. France on edge again. GET SMART U.S.”

As acts of terrorism increase in Europe that are directly attributed to immigration from Islamic states, it becomes increasing obvious how necessary it is to thoroughly vet immigrants and refugees from these nations.
