A museum has shuttered Shia LaBeouf’s anti-President Trump protest because it became a “flashpoint for violence.”
The 30-year-old actor installed a camera on a wall outside of the Astoria’s Museum of the Moving Image in New York and wanted to film reactions outside for the duration of Trump’s presidency. The words “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” were on the wall.
According to the New Post, the museum removed the camera this week because it required around-the-clock police patrols.

“The installation created a serious and ongoing public safety hazard for the museum, its visitors, its staff, local residents and businesses,” the museum said in a statement.
While the installation began constructively, it deteriorated markedly after one of the artists was arrested at the site of the installation and ultimately necessitated this action.”
