An older woman attempted to interrupt Jeff Sessions’ confirmation vote before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, she started her outburst just seconds after the committee confirmed the former Alabama Senator by an 11-9 vote.
“You cannot confirm the nomination of a man who will not protect the vulnerable,” the women, wearing a “Say No To Islamophobia” shirt yelled at committee members. “That’s why we have [inaudible] Attorney General.”
“You are shameful,” the woman shouted as she was dragged from the room. “You ought to be ashamed!”
