A crime streamed via Facebook Live which shows a girl who was brutally beaten to death by two girls.
Serena McKay a 19-year-old Canadian girl is brutally beaten to death by two girls who then posted the attack on Facebook Live as a community asks why.
Serena McKay a 19-year-old Intuit, Canadian girl has died after she was brutally attacked by two teens, a sixteen-year-old and a seventeen-year-old. An attack that was recorded and morbidly posted on Facebook and has since led to the arrest of two teens. McKay’s fellow classmates.
Notice of the teen’s death came after McKay’s body was found on the Sagkeeng First Nation reserve, northeast of Winnipeg, April 23, just hours after the girl was reported missing by her family.
The trauma of McKay’s death was further amplified when to her family’s horror, video of the McKay’s beating began circulating on Facebook and was shared on a private instant messaging app.
A report via CBC. told of the video being on Facebook for four hours before administrators removed it.
Neve, theless it was four hours too long, with some who saw it describing McKay lying on the ground bloodied and barely conscious while her attackers repeatedly stomped and punched her in the head.
Pleaded the defenseless woman as she is seen writing in pain, ‘I’m so sorry’.
It didn’t matter. Her tormentors continued attacking her before leaving her for dead.
Both female and male voices can be heard in the background of the video and at least two girls can be seen attacking McKay. For reasons yet to be necessarily understood the teens then decided to further denigrate their victim and share the beating on Facebook Live, ensuring their own morbid notoriety in the age of rampant social media sharing of anything and everything.
Police are investigating allegations McKay’s death was streamed on Facebook Live. They are reviewing the footage as part of their investigation but are yet to confirm that she is the woman in the video reported the dailymail.
Be warned the video is not for the faint of heart (I refused to watch it for more than 3 seconds) and raises disturbing questions as to the degree of violence in society and the mindset required to maliciously assault another human being to the degree shown in the above video.
The two individuals seen and heard savagely beating the girl have since been charged with second-degree murder. Because of their age, police are refusing to publicly identify them.
Police said the two girls attended Sagkeeng Anicinabe High School with their 19-year-old victim who was due to graduate soon.
McKay lived in the nearby Powerview-Pine Falls community.
Told Principal Claude Guimond who informed police of the video when several students alerted him to it, ‘After seeing what I saw on the video, you know what? There’s nobody in their right mind [that] would do something like that, unless they were extremely high on whatever and just totally, like, out of it’.
Or perhaps just extremely mean spirited, severely maladjusted and lacking in human empathy, dispositions, and facets that are reflected ongoing all over the world as humans are forced to contend with their nature and their propensity to inflict severe hurt and pain. But why …?
The suspects are now in custody who were facing second-degree murder charges.
We at DailyHeadlines will NOT be hosting the video but, if you feel you HVAE to see it click the photo below. I warn you it is not for the faint of heart.
