Kirsters Baish| Former CIA Director under Barack Obama, John Brennan, continued his attack on President Donald Trump this Tuesday following a statement in which he called President Trump’s performance at Monday’s joint summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin “treasonous.” Brennan is in the same exact boat as every other liberal who was either trying to postpone the joint summit or bashing Trump’s performance after the matter. They were scared of what Putin might reveal to Trump.
Brennan also said something that could be interpreted as a signal to the intelligence community. He publicly warned that the Intel community could start to “withhold vital intelligence” from President Donald Trump in order to “protect” information.
The Washington Times reports:
In light of Mr. Trump’s comments about the intelligence community, Mr. Brennan said “there very well might be” a shift in the covert community to “withhold vital intelligence” in order to protect that information.
“Dan Coats and Gina Haspel need to be on top of their game now and speak truth to power,” he said, referring to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and CIA Director Gina Haspel. “And make sure Trump doesn’t get away with this.”
Mr. Brennan said Mr. Trump was “way, way out of his depth” meeting one-on-one with the “master manipulator,” Mr. Putin.
The Times also writes that Brennan claims that a CIA agent would not have even considered the idea of a private conversation with a Russian. He stated, “that’s just something we don’t do.”
The Obama era CIA Director stated that President Trump could have potentially damaged or compromised intelligence capabilities during his private meeting with President Putin.
“I still don’t understand why he didn’t trust John Bolton, Mike Pompeo to be in that meeting,” John Brennan said.
Brennan claimed that it would be “unbelievable” if Russia hadn’t held onto a one single recording Trump’s statements.
Brennan stated, “I believe that whatever Mr. Trump said in that meeting is now memorialized on Russian tape and will be utilized by Putin against Trump.”
The former CIA Director claimed that President Trump’s performance at his joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin crossed the line of “high crimes and misdemeanors” and was “nothing short of treasonous.”
President Donald Trump bashed Brennan when he sat down for an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. He called the former CIA Director “a very bad guy.”
“I think Brennan is a very bad guy and if you look at it a lot of things happened under his watch,” the President told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. “I think he’s a very bad person.”
The Gateway Pundit writes, “John Brennan is the puppet master behind the Trump-Russia collusion narrative and he helped promote Hillary’s garbage Russia dossier. If anyone compromised our intelligence capabilities, it was John Brennan and James Clapper, two corrupt criminals who should already be in prison.”
