Muslim Convert Arrested After London Bridge Terror Attack [VIDEO]
A mother of an 18-month old child, Charisse O’Leary, 38 years-old, was believed to one of the seven women arrested by authorities following the Saturday night. Five men were also arrested during the raid in connection with the terror attack.
Charisse O’Leary, 38, screamed ‘don’t shoot’ as police stormed a block of flats in Barking, east London on Sunday.
According to investigations, Charisse also goes by the name of Charisse Redouane. She was married to the London Bridge attacker Rachid Redouane in Ireland in 2012. And, the terrorist is said to be the father of Charisse 18-month old daughter.
Before the Saturday night attack, Charisse is said to have split with the terrorist nine months ago and it was unclear whether she have been practicing a Muslim faith. Times reported that she was a convert but her friend said that she was not.
In recent posts on social media, Charisse has described herself as single and, in one post, complained that her daughter’s father was not visiting their child.
The London Bridge attacker, Rachid Redouane was a Moroccan-Libyan pastry chef who had until recently been living in Dublin, according to Irish police sources.
He is thought to have settled in the Irish capital about five years ago but does not appear to have come to the authorities’ notice before Saturday night’s terror attack.
He have been identified from a card that was found on his body that had been issued by the Garda National Immigration Bureau in Dublin.
According to investigations in the London Bridge attack, three men rammed a van into pedestrians on London Bridge before running into the Borough Market nightlife area, where they slit throats and stabbed people indiscriminately.
All three suspects were shot dead by police.
