Liberal Loon Mark Cuban Slams President Trump

Mark Cuban said President Donald Trump has “no leadership skills, no management skills” Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper.”

The tech billionaire said that while he was wrong about how the markets and business community would react to Trump winning the election, the president lacks the “communication skills” to get the things passed that he promised his voters.

“No leadership skills, no management skills,” Cuban responded. “Not very good communication skills. But he’s obviously had an impact on the economy so he gets credit for that. People believe in what he’s doing on the tax front.”

“There’s a lot of positives that are positives for business,” he added. “But you still have to look at the bigger picture because even though he has put out these executive orders, even though he has signaled the intent to do all these things and the market has believed in it, any leader, particularly the president, has got to lead. And he’s got to lead to get these things passed.”

“And we are seeing the difficulties of his communication skills with what we are seeing with Obamacare vs Trumpcare,” he continued. “Rallying the crowd and putting together a hype video and managing and leading are two different things. When it comes to communication skills have you seen him answer any questions? At some point you have to communicate an understanding of the issues. If you can’t delve into the issues how are you going to come to a resolution on anything.”

Cuban also answered if he plans to run for president in 2020.

“I don’t want to say no, but it’s not my dream to be president of the United States, but would like to have influence.”

In February when asked about President Trump’s policies Cuban said “Some of his policies are fine. Some of the Republican policies, tax reform, reduction of bureaucracy.  I think there are a lot of positives there. But I don’t think those are necessarily his ideas and the execution particularly on the ban has been horrible. I mean I don’t think he’ll last four years. But we’ll see.”

“Look it’s our country,” he continued. “We want him to do well. We want the country to do well.”

“There’s a lot of great opportunity here. It’s not about policies, it’s about temperament, it’s about approach. It’s about investing the time to learn.”

“Look he is the Twitter president, which I like, I like when he tweets cause he tells us what he’s thinking or not thinking. But the reality is, if you’re truly going to be a social media president you don’t have to rip on the media, just tell your story. Facebook doesn’t have a character limit. Instead of having Sean Spicer go out there and just try to respond to everything, pre-empt the whole thing by going in-depth about all your policies and tell us what you are thinking.”
