High School Graduate’s Life Cut Tragically Short After Road Rage Incident Gets Out Of Hand

A man driving on a highway Wednesday in Pennsylvania reportedly shot a recent high school graduate in the head in an apparent act of road rage.

Eighteen-year-old Bianca Nikol Roberson, in a green Chevrolet Malibu, was riding alongside an unidentified driver of a red pickup truck, according to NBC10. As the two vehicles attempted to merge into a single lane at the same time, Roberson and the man seemed to jostle one another, although direct contact has not yet been determined.

At that moment, police say that the driver of the truck decided to pull out a gun and shoot Roberson, killing her instantly and causing her vehicle to veer off the side of the road.

“A young lady in the prime of her life getting ready to go off to college,” West Goshen Police Chief Joseph Gleason said, according to NBC10. “Now the family has to consider burying her.”

As Roberson’s car crashed into an adjacent forested area, the driver sped away and fled the scene.

Authorities are currently engaged in a manhunt to arrest and try the suspect.

“This is now a murder case. A young woman has died senselessly,” Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said Thursday, NBC10 reports. “Every cop in three states is looking for this red pickup truck and looking for this defendant.”

Law enforcement want anyone with any information to call the West Goshen Police Department in Pennsylvania. They describe the suspect as white, male, medium-sized, and having light-brown or blonde hair. Authorities also believe, based on witness testimony, that he is probably between 30 and 40 years old.
