He Told His Boss Why He Was Skipping Work And They FIRED Him Immediately…

A “woke” music industry employee complained about being fired from his job in June after he refused to work because he was “mourning” the end of Roe v. Wade.

Michael Lopez, a production coordinator at Universal Music Enterprises and a proud openly gay man, posted a lengthy note on his LinkedIn account last week.

According to his post, he was fired for “speaking up in defense of abortion rights” and accused the company of being “anti-gay” for firing a “queer brown person” during Pride Month. Lopez’s post went viral last week but he was getting fired again for the second time after a hot discussion on the Internet.

Here’s what he wrote on his LinkedIn:

“Last Friday, like countless other folks, I was devastated by the news of the Supreme Court’s attack on abortion rights. Paired with the flood of anti-queer and anti-trans legislation, it’s been hard to process how company’s expect us to be productive while our rights are being stripped away.”

Lopez further explained that he was responsible every Friday for processing a report and sending his work to 275 people — a duty he neglected on Friday that the Supreme Court announced its decision.

Here’s what he said in an email that appeared to be in response to a superior:

“I didn’t do them today. I’m in mourning due to the attack on people with uteruses in the US. Federally guaranteed access to abortion is gone.”

Lopez then accused his employer, saying,

“Must stop donating to anti-abortion, anti-queer and anti-trans politicians” such as Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), and Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN), or else “expect more unproductive days.” He concluded the email with the salutation “yours in fury.”

Here’s an excerpt from his email:

Message:

I didn’t do them today.

Vivendi and Universal Music Group must stop donating to anti-abortion, anti-queer and anti-trans politicians. Politicians like Marsha Blackburn, Ken Buck, Victoria Spartz, etc. Or expect more unproductive days.

Yours in fury,
-Michael Lopez

Most Americans support stronger legal protections for unborn babies than what Roe allowed. LifeNews highlighted 14 recent polls here.

The 1973 ruling forced states to legalize abortions for any reason up to viability and allowed abortions without limits up to birth. As a result, more than 63 million unborn babies were killed in abortions. Now, states may protect unborn babies from abortion again and their pro-life laws are expected to save hundreds of thousands of lives.
