HA! Chuck Schumer’s Words Have Come Back To Haunt Him Big Time….

Halloween may have arrived a bit early for New York Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, as his words came back to haunt him on Friday the 13th.

Remember when a draft of the Supreme Court judgment overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked last year, leading lefties to lose their collective minds?

For weeks, large crowds protested outside the houses of conservative Supreme Court justices, interrupting their lives and hurting their families.

An assassination attempt on Justice Brett Kavanaugh by a 26-year-old man outraged over the still-pending decision was even prevented. (The individual, identified as Nicholas John Roske, is said to have wanted to “give his life a purpose.”)

But Schumer saw no issue with the protestors.

According to a May 10, 2022, report in The Hill, when a reporter asked Schumer if he was comfortable with the rallies outside the Supreme Court justices’ residences, Schumer said, “If protests are peaceful, yes.” Outside my house, there are protests three or four times a week. It is acceptable to demonstrate peacefully in America.”

While speaking with the reporter, Schumer received a phone call from his wife and quipped, “Maybe there’s a protest outside.”

According to Fox News, Schumer, who is Jewish, may have felt a little less sympathetic toward demonstrators on Friday, when hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside his home just as he sat down to Shabbat dinner before leaving for Israel.

According to the New York Post, dozens of demonstrators, including local officials and members of Jewish organizations, were arrested outside Schumer’s home.

One X user posted:

“A protest took place around the city on Friday, including outside Senator Chuck Schumer’s home in Brooklyn.

“Friday night saw Jewish New Yorkers and allies make their way to Sen. Schumer’s home in Brooklyn as he prepared to travel with a delegation of lawmakers to Israel — demanding he take action for a ceasefire,” the post continued.

“Dozens of protesters, ages 20-85, were arrested, including two New York officials, Assemblymembers Zohran Mamdani and Marcela Mitaynes along with rabbis and descendants of Holocaust survivors, holding a banner reading ‘Jews Say Stop the Genocide of Palestinians’ and blocking the entryway to Schumer’s street.”

Another remarked on the contrast in treatment of demonstrators outside Schumer’s home vs those outside the homes of Supreme Court justices. It refers to Schumer’s infamous March 2020 speech in which he called out the Supreme Court, specifically identifying Kavanaugh and Justice Neil Gorsuch, declaring:

“You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price.”

“Two tiered justice, ” the post stated. “Schumer threatened SCOTUS that they would reap a whirlwind. Protesters stayed even after one showed up armed to kill. 30 seconds into protests against a democrat and it is shut down.”

Whether or not Schumer advocated for the arrest of the demonstrators, he certainly has the benefit of protection that many others do not.

But, hopefully, he got a feel of what others in New York have had to go through whenever Democrats like him incite public outrage.
