As Reported by Funker:
An enemy sniper is launched hundreds of feet into the air by a GPS guided Multiple Launch Rocket System warhead outside of COP Falcon in Ramadi, Iraq in 2006. The sniper was able to get within a few hundred meters of the outpost and began delivering sniper harassment fire with little effectiveness. The threat was identified by US forces, and the target building was engaged by a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle as well as an Abrams tank. The armored vehicles were not able to neutralize the target because of the high angle, and it was necessary to call in theĀ fire support.
